NetPublish Online Production System
ITM Publishing Services supply a huge range of publishing services to over 30 publishing houses throughout the UK. The NetPublish system is used to manage the production of hundreds of weekly and monthly magazine titles distributed throughout the UK and allows publishers, pre-press production companies and advertising agencies to collaborate over the web in real-time.
A joint initiative between ITM, Blue Sky Communications and the Online Solutions team, the system was primarily designed and developed to revolutionise the time-consuming and cumbersome approval and production processes inherent in the publishing world.
The system creates an environment in which publishing houses have the ability to monitor and action the production status of their titles and advertisements quickly, easily and in real-time. By using the internet as a means of managing the entire production process, ITM have eliminated the need to courier and fax materials to and from their clients, saving time and reducing production costs.
