The International Publishing Group (IPG), distributors of publication titles such as Expat Investor, International Express, British Football Week and The New Zealander approached Online Solutions with a view to developing new websites for each of their current publication titles.
It was decided that although similar, each website should act completely autonomously as the type of content featured on each would not only differ, but would also be maintained by different sub sections of the organisation situated across the globe. It was important therefore, to develop a solution that would meet IPG's requirements as well as provide them with a cost effective means of maintaining the numerous websites in the future.
The first of the IPG websites to be completed (Expat Investor) includes everything you would expect from a publication website; from articles, interviews and latest news to banner and video adverts. Although fairly advertisement heavy, the website also provides visitors with numerous online facilities such as an online subscription payment gateway, discussion forums, competitions, reviews, search facilities, printer friendly pages and an automated HTML email alerts system.
