Project details

HC-UK organise and produce high quality healthcare conferences and exhibitions for clinical audiences with specialist interests. Their existing online booking system was aging and cumbersome to administer, and so the OS team were approached to breathe new life into both the company's online presence and modernise the back-end tech to help streamline their day to day operations.

Having established a new digital strategy and website structure, the OS team set about re-creating each of the operational processes originally carried out by the existing system, but in new modern tech. The challenge was to ensure that the migration to a new system would not drastically overhaul the daily duties of staff members and require huge amounts of re-training, whilst balancing that with capitalising on modern technological advances and optimisation opportunities.

During this unprecedented year, and with in-person conferences and events being cancelled, the OS team are working closely alongside HC-UK to help extend their online capabilities so that they can continue to provide services to their key worker audience.

Ecommerce integration

Seamlessly integrated with WorldPay and designed specifically with the target audience in mind, it was important to consider the user experience carefully throughout the design process. To achieve success, it was essential to ensure complex bookings of multiple conference delegates across multiple days on different courses could all be achieved and managed simply and logically online

The OS team are very excited to be helping HC-UK to go 100% virtual! With the creation of a new kind of digital space, HC-UK will be able to offer their delegates virtual conferences and events that are just as good as the real thing. From secure and simple access and easy to digest pre-conference material to live video streaming rooms and breakout zones, it really will feel like you’re there in person so watch this space
